Al-Jawhara is part of the big conglomerate S S Lootah group started in 1956. The group has a diversified business segment in construction, ready-mix, foundation, IT Solutions
Al Jawhara Hotels and Apartment (AJH) is a part of S.S. Lootah Group - a family owned diversified of repute based in Dubai.

About S.S. Lootah Group
Founded and chaired by Hajj Saeed Ahmed Al Lootah in Dubai in 1956, S.S. Lootah Group employs more than 6,000 people in the United Arab Emirates. The group continues to be a leader with its diverse and successful business ventures, non-profit educational institutions, entrepreneurship, veracity as well as its profound dedication to corporate citizenship and sustainable development.

S.S. Lootah group is the name behind many successful, entrepreneurial business and community ventures. Achievements & Resource Management
AJH has implemented Quality Management System by ISO 9001 standards. Proper review mechanisms for the procedures and standards are carried out at regular intervals.

Offering different type of cuisine, to ensure the food safety for the consumer (Guest/employees), AJH has implemented the Food Safety Management System by getting certified in Codex Procedures of HACCP. Al Jawhara Hotel Apartment is the first Deluxe Hotel Apartment- HACCP certified in Dubai and Al Jawhara Gardens Hotel is the second 4 star hotels in Dubai certified with HACCP.

As a part of continuous improvement, associates are encourages to share their thoughts and ideas to the management thru? TQM system, staff bulletin, different group facilitation techniques such as Wacko Jacko analysis. For smooth operation, different mode of communication methods are in place in terms of department log book, electronic log books, regular meetings, 15 meeting operational daily trainings, monthly departmental meetings, supervisor meeting etc. To maintain a good terms and to get time to time feedback of the stakeholders, AJH has implemented the recognition program by presenting the top producer Award, inviting the support team for the luncheon, Offering complimentary rooms, value added packages, inviting suppliers for the luncheon, tea invitation, long stay guests are invited for cocktail party.

To identify the potential and current market, sales & marketing department regularly carried out the survey regards to occupancy, Average room rate, demand in the market and market segment and plan their sales strategy and review it periodically.

A SWOT analysis is carried out time to time to identify the threats in the market and to comply with the set budget if not meeting the target a contingency plan will be put forward in a place. To comply a vast changes by the regulatory bodies such as Dept of Tourism, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence etc, a meeting will be called up to discuss and decide the further action plan.

Year July 2008, Jawhara Group Sr. Management Endeavor made their dreams to manage the other property achieved by getting "Al Jawhara Management" tourism license approved by DTCM with trade license no.
